Due to wind chill and to ensure student safety, the MS YTC bball tourney in Eureka Saturday, January 13 has been postponed. The Battler Wrestling Tourney in Gettysburg Saturday, January 13 has been cancelled.
The Double Header basketball games in Aberdeen vs Aberdeen Christian tonight, January 12th been postponed due to windchill.
Due to windchill factors and road conditions, Gettysburg will have a 10AM start Friday, January 12th.
Gettysburg School families, FYI there is a gas/propane smell in and around our building. There was too much odor added at the transmission company, and the odor will go away in a few hours. We want to assure you, this is not a health or safety concern. Thank you!

2023-24 Gettysburg Teacher of the Year nominations are now open!
A district Teacher of the Year nominee must: be a fully certified teacher; be employed by a South Dakota accredited school district - pre-kindergarten through grade twelve; have at least 3 full years of teaching experience; be planning to continue in an active teaching status (supervisory and administrative responsibilities are secondary considerations) for at least 2 more years; For more information on the Teacher of the Year Program visit, http://doe.sd.gov/oatq/teacheroftheyear.aspx.
To nominate a teacher for the Gettysburg Teacher of the Year Award, simply complete this form or pickup a paper copy in the school office.
