4th grade learned how to play floor hockey in PE today. They loved it and want to play more!
At the request of North Central the MSBBB game time for tomorrow Tuesday, January 23rd, start time has changed to 4:30pm.
As part of their unit on the branches of government, the 8th grade Social Studies class received an overview of the South Dakota Legislative Branch from Ashley (Tanner) Fliehs and Katie (Wagner) Washnok. The class received an in-depth look at the state legislative process along with bill and policy drafting. After drafting mock legislation, the class held a committee hearing where they heard their classmates’ legislation and debated the policy back and forth, passing one and deferring the other to the 41st legislative day.

Congratulations to Garrett Rausch who placed 9th in the individual competition at Math Counts in Eureka today. Jack Simon was just one place out of awards and the team of Garrett, Jack, Paige Ahlemeier, and Aiden Larson placed 5th, just one place out of awards. Other participants were Wiley Cronin, Morrison Thomas, Finlee Heien, and Declan Morin. There were about 80 participants.
