With Veterans Day approaching, the 8th Grade Social Studies class had the privilege of Don Hericks showing them how to properly fold an American flag. We encourage you to come watch them present the meaning behind the 13 folds at the Veterans Day program on Friday, November 10 at 10 am.

The 5th grade class bundled up and spent their Halloween morning visiting the West Whitlock Salmon Station to learn all about spawning. Special thanks to the Game, Fish, and Parks, and West Whitlock Recreation staff for sharing your knowledge and inspiring young learners.

Jenn Jager was a mystery reader in the kindergarten class today, keeping up an annual tradition that started when her daughter, Megan, was in the class- currently a junior. She read How to Catch a Monster and The 13 Days of Halloween. She also brought an early treat for the class. Thanks, Miss Jenn!

"Good witch" Marsha Osier came to visit the Kindergarten class as a Mystery Reader. She read two books: Ten Timid Ghosts and The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything. She also brought some early Halloween treats for the kids- delicious sugar cookies and Halloween pencils.
Marsha has been an annual visitor to the Kindergarten class ever since her granddaughter, Jayla (now in 5th grade) was a Kindergartner. What a fun visit! Thanks, Marsha!




All-State Chorus is underway!


National First Responders Day is tomorrow. Some of the MS Student Council members delivered goodies to local law enforcement today. They also made goodies for the EMT's for their meeting last week and for the firefighters Monday night. We appreciate everything our first responders do for our community! Thank you!!
