The 3rd graders found themselves stuck in a Haunted House today!
To escape they had to collaborate with their group members to solve 5 different ELA based challenges. The challenges included reading passages, true and false statements, context clues to solve definitions of unfamiliar words, crossword puzzles, inferring, and completing charts.
They all made it out in the nick of time to enjoy an extra recess!

The PC Football team will leave at 10AM on Thursday for the play-off game in Dell Rapids. Kick-off is at 6pm. We will have a regular school day. For Art this week Mrs. Hansen's 3rd Grade class helped to decorate the bulletin board in the lunchroom for Red Ribbon Week. This runs October 23-31 to bring awareness to keeping kids drug free.
The 3rd graders have "A Minion Reasons to be Drug Free!"

Parents Night is tonight at 6:45pm. Parents please gather on the north end of the track. All students that have HS jerseys, cheerleaders, statisticians and coaches will be announced and walk out on the field. 6th and 7th grade football players will be in the program, but WILL NOT be announced or walk across the field.

It’s that time of year: From Oct. 1 to Nov. 30, high school seniors can apply to any of South Dakota’s Board of Regents universities and Technical Colleges for FREE. The free application period is one way to encourage the state’s young citizens to explore postsecondary opportunities in their own backyard.
