Last Friday, Mr. Smith was inducted into the SD Football Coaches Hall of Fame. Mr. Scott accepted the award in his honor, and pictured is Mr. Smith's family, Nancy, Katrina, Lucas, and Aaron. What a great way to honor the legacy he left in South Dakota as a coach and Activities Director.

Two policy changes were approved at this Monday's board meeting. Please see the amended cell phone/electronic policy, as well as the changes to our COVID plan. Major changes are:
1. Phones, smartwatches, etc. must be turned off and in student lockers until lunchtime. Previously students were allowed to wear a watch or keep their phone off and in their pocket/bag. This is intended to minimize screen time and distraction. MS/HS parents should have received an email with more information.
2. COVID- In the old policy, students and staff would have to stay out of school 5 days after a positive test result. Per new CDC recommendations, students and staff may return after symptoms have improved for 24 hours and they are fever free for 24 hours without using fever-reducing medication.
Call the office with any questions, thank you!
