Good afternoon, the JV/Varsity football, volleyball, and varsity cross country athletes will be leaving at 12:30 to attend the Hoven Homecoming parade and pep rally. Lunch will be served before they leave. The cross country and volleyball athletes will return home after the pep rally. No middle school volleyball or middle school football practices tomorrow, Friday, August 25th.
We are looking for volunteers 21 years and older to help us keep our teens safe. Please contact amber.mikkelsen@k12.sd.us for questions or to volunteer your time. It takes all of us to make activities like this successful. If you can't help, but would like to contribute toward breakfast or lunch for the volunteers we would be grateful for that as well!

It's been a week full of learning, collaboration, and hard work as our staff completed in-service to prepare for the 2023-2024 school year. We topped it off with an amazing turnout at the Open House last night. Thank you to all who attended, to Taher Foods, Gettysburg School and staff, Coke, and Pepsi for sponsoring a great supper!Breakfast is at 7:45, all other students may come as early as 8AM. One reminder, we will release at 2:30 tomorrow, and all Wednesdays throughout the year for in-service. Here we go, Battlers!
Don't forget to join us for the Open House! Enjoy a free meal (hot dog, chips, bar, water) starting at 5:30. At about 6:15 we'll have an assembly to meet the staff and hear announcements. After that, students will have a chance to see their classrooms and meet their teachers! See you soon!
Please do not park in the main school parking lots on the northwest and southwest sides of the school on Thursday and Friday. They will be closed for chip sealing. You may park there again starting Monday. Thank you!
