Don't forget! Dakota Players children's theater is holding auditions for "On The Road to Bremen Town", tomorrow (Monday) after school, in the new gym. These auditions are open to all students K-12. Parents/adults should be back at 5:30pm to see what part their child got. It's advised that you pack a supper for your child and bring it at that time. Certain parts (not all) will require students to stay for a supper break/2nd rehearsal from 6-8pm. Please contact Kim Goebel or Julie Williams with any questions. Break a leg, kids!!

A peek into 3rd Grade Intervention time!
Intervention groups are a great way for the elementary classes to provide extra instructional time towards specific skills and remediation, while not taking away from core classes. This also allows for a chance to push high fliers and differentiate our learning and teaching!
Mrs Hansen's group has been working through 2- 10 minute interventions each day on specific ELA skills. Students spend the remaining time working on specific pathways set for them through Freckle on their Chromebook's. Their pathway is individualized for them based on their Math and Reading STAR testing results.

With Veterans Day approaching, the 8th Grade Social Studies class had the privilege of Don Hericks showing them how to properly fold an American flag. We encourage you to come watch them present the meaning behind the 13 folds at the Veterans Day program on Friday, November 10 at 10 am.

If your child was absent or would like their picture taken again, retakes are next Tuesday, November 7th!

Middle School Student Council members put on a Halloween carnival for the elementary students yesterday.
