Mrs. Larson took the 2nd graders on a discovery adventure to the Dakota Sunset Museum.

The 3-5 Field Trip to the George Mickelson Criminal Justice Center was filled with great presentations teaching students all about different careers in law. This also included a tour and hands on lessons on identifying crime scene evidence. Afterwards the students were able to go bowling and topped it off with a trip to Zestos for the ice cream! Special thanks to Sarah Thorne for putting it all together and some hometown help from Mary Beth Holzwarth and Terry Rholf's our bus driver!

On May 9th the 3rd-5th grades ventured to Pierre for their field trip to the George Mickelson Criminal Justice Center for a presentation, tour, and interactive activities put together by Sarah Thorne. In preparation, Sheriff Hamburger visited us at the school to discuss finger printing and crime scene forensics. Students also worked on completing DNA bracelets, and later that week competed in teams as secret agents to escape a virtual crime scene!

A busy end to the year means some late posts coming up!
The 3rd Graders worked hard on their Animal Reports which they were super excited to show off to Mrs. Beringer's Preschool classes! The kiddos brought excellent questions and enthusiasm, along with a few facts of their own! 😄
