Our Human Development classes wrapped up our brain development unit with an activity for kids 0-3 years. Students could create their own story to share, a sensory bin or activity, or practice reading with emotion and inflection. They did a wonderful job. Next up: sign language unit.

We are so lucky to have community members able to share their knowledge and talents with our students! The 6th grade students had Mandy Spilde speak about embalming practices of the Ancient Egyptians.

The 8th grade students spend a morning with Mrs. Peggy Williams talking about the Homestead Act and how the town of Gettysburg was founded.

Also, Mr. Don Hericks spoke with the 8th graders about the proper way to fold our American Flag. Make sure you come to our Veteran's Day Program on Tuesday, November 11th at 9:45 a.m. to see and hear the meaning behind the folds of the flag.
